hannah lenton
Founder | Yoga Teacher | Reiki Practitioner
Hannah is the founder of Shanti and the heart behind its vision.
With over two decades of personal practice, extensive yoga teacher training over 8 years and a BSc in Psychology, her teaching blends traditional yoga philosophy with a modern understanding of nervous system regulation, mindful living practices, and women’s health.
She has a particular interest in supporting women through menopause and helping busy minds find steadiness through breath, movement and rest.
Her classes are thoughtfully sequenced, creative and engaging, offering clear guidance alongside space for personal exploration to deepen relationship to self.
Whether dynamic or deeply restorative, each session encourages awareness, self-compassion and the understanding that yoga is a lifelong practice to be lived, not performed.

kay king
yoga teacher
Kay is an exploratory yoga teacher whose practice is rooted in the Ashtanga series, blending structure with curiosity to help students discover what feels authentic in their bodies. Her classes encourage students to connect with their breath while developing strength, balance and inner calm.
Since moving to North Devon in 2021, Kay has enjoyed working with students of all abilities in supportive and inclusive spaces.
She is passionate about helping people realise their potential and values the sense of connection that grows through practising, learning and moving together.
Kay will be teaching on Wednesdays at 7:15pm from April.

charlie cassidy

Charlie sees yoga as a way of life and a practice that supports living with greater awareness, presence and connection. For him, yoga is about relationships and community, beginning with the relationship we have with ourselves and extending to those around us.
His teaching is person-centred, holistic and continually evolving. Charlie aims to create a physically and emotionally safe environment where yoga can be explored in an accessible and supportive way.
He believes that the ultimate teacher is the inner wisdom within each of us, and encourages students to cultivate that connection through their practice.

xanthe ivory
integrative counsellor
Xanthe is a fully qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor specialising in women’s health, with particular expertise in perinatal and maternal mental wellbeing. She also supports adults navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders and low self-esteem.
Working in private practice, Xanthe welcomes clients from all backgrounds and takes time to build meaningful, trusting relationships. She believes this therapeutic connection is at the heart of effective counselling.
Drawing on a range of integrative approaches, she guides clients towards greater clarity, confidence and self-understanding, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges and create lasting change.

alisha jameson
yoga teacher / massage therapist
Alisha is a massage therapist and yoga teacher from Kerala, India, with over thirteen years of personal practice and six years of teaching experience. Her work focuses on helping people reconnect with their bodies and find lasting relief from physical tension and stress.
Her approach combines therapeutic deep tissue techniques with an understanding of body alignment, movement and breath. She specialises in addressing common issues such as muscle tightness, back pain and cervical discomfort, using targeted methods to restore balance and improve mobility.
Each session is tailored to individual needs, whether supporting recovery, easing chronic tension or encouraging deep relaxation. Alongside her massage work, Alisha brings her yoga experience into the space and may occasionally offer classes when covering.

Nicole Luongo
reiki / tarot / crystal healing
Nicole is a compassionate and intuitive healer and Tarot reader offering heart-centred sessions designed to support emotional healing, spiritual guidance and personal clarity through practices including Tarot, Reiki, crystal healing and Angelic Reiki.
Working closely with clients during times of change and uncertainty, Nicole creates a calm and supportive space where each session is tailored to individual needs.
A qualified and insured practitioner, she helps clients reconnect with their intuition, restore balance and move forward with a greater sense of clarity, peace and trust in themselves.

lydia hart
holistic therapist
Lydia is a holistic therapist and group facilitator working one-to-one and in group settings with a focus on mind, body and spirit. She blends intuitive healing with practical, accessible tools to support rest, release and meaningful transformation.
With a deep understanding of the nervous system and the mind-body connection, Lydia works with breathwork, meditation, Reiki and sound healing to gently guide people from stress towards balance and wellbeing.
She offers monthly meditation, breathwork, and soundbath sessions at Shanti, and enjoys collaborating with local practitioners as part of a growing and supportive community.

julie lea
yoga teacher | kirtan mantra guide
Julie brings over 20 years of experience in yoga teaching and psychotherapy, with the heart space at the centre of her work. She believes that when we open the heart, we move beyond fear and control into trust, connection and authenticity.
Her current focus includes meditation, pranayama and yoga nidra, alongside her deep love of chanting and mantra.
For Julie, sound and vibration offer a powerful pathway to healing, helping to release past wounds and reconnect us with our true essence of peace and joy. She looks forward to sharing these practices in a welcoming and supportive space.
