hannah lenton

Founder | Yoga Teacher | Reiki Practitioner

Hannah is the founder of Shanti and the heart behind its vision. After moving to North Devon in 2022, she recognised the strength of the local wellness community and felt inspired to create a dedicated, welcoming space in Bideford where yoga and self-care practices could be explored consistently and under one roof.

With extensive yoga teacher training over 2 decades of practive and 8 years of study as well as a BSc in Psychology, her teaching blends traditional philosophy with a modern understanding of nervous system regulation, women’s health and mindful living. She has a particular interest in supporting women through menopause, and helping busy minds find steadiness through breath, movement and rest.

Her classes are inclusive, thoughtfully sequenced and engaging, offering clear guidance alongside space for personal exploration. Whether dynamic or deeply restorative, each session is rooted in awareness, self-compassion and the belief that yoga is a lifelong practice to be lived, not performed.
